The Account Manager is the key face to the customer and must maintain a strong presence for FNST. They must build effective relationships with engineering, quality, purchasing, and plant personnel. They are expected to support customer timing and program deliverables through the use of open issues lists and project timing. They may be responsible to review, analyze, and communicate technical information from and to FNST product engineers to ensure that customer deliverables are met. They must challenge both the customer and FNST to ensure the best solution for both parties are being made.Account Manager - Automotive Supplier

Responsible for management of all commercial activities with assigned accounts including generation of new business, maintain current business, proactive issue resolution, pricing actions with logic, resolving AR/AP issues, improving service levels and maximizing customer satisfaction.
Self-starter: visit customers and use the opportunity to build relationship. Use the relationship to collect competitive information, current and future programs.
Ability to create account strategy and action plan based on information from customer and FNST manufacturing sites.
RFQ processing:
Create pricing map based on existing business information (ex. O-ring size vs. price)
Ability to analyze price quoted by lead centers (ex. should the part price be higher or lower based on existing business?)
Ability to value-sell, and receive new business at price higher than competitors
Project management skills - Ability to understand customer schedule and proactively follow both internally and externally for smooth launch.Ability to gain in-depth understanding of existing business and create roadmap for protecting existing business, and identifying area(s) of growth.Strong communication skills - Fully understand expectation, prepare proposal, and reach agreementStrong negotiation skills and consider any change as an opportunity to improve profit margin Ability to work effectively and meet objectives without detailed day-to-day directionMust be highly organized and flexible to handle multiple priorities and clientsStrong negotiation skills - Both internally and externally; ability to balance various groups need
Unsere Erwartungen
Minimum Qualifications: A BA or BS with discipline in Engineering, Business, Management or other related to automotive industry and or manufacturing, and with 2 -5 yrs. of automotive or commercial product experience. Ability to travel 20% of the time with some international travel may be required - Mexico, Canada and Europe.Preferred Qualifications: All described in minimum qualifications. BS in engineering with over 5-7 yrs + of automotive or commercial product experience, in commercial role, negotiating issues such as: pricing and project schedule. Work experience dealing with global large tier accounts or OEM's a plus.Language Skills: Spanish is a plus (not req.) Mathematical Skills: College level math for building logic and performing basic price and financial analaysis Reasoning Ability: Need to have strong reasoning ability in order to build logic for negotiating and justifying company position Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Driver's license and passport, travel to Canada and Mexico required Work Environment: Able to work in a multi-cultural environment.Internal applicants: Please complete a self nomination form and send to your Division HR Lead, along with a copy of your resume.
