The Role Following a recent restructure of our clients production management team, They are looking for fantastic applicants to fill their newly created Shift Operations Manager role. This is a critical role within the team, carrying the responsibility of ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the shift. This will include all people management processes, health and safety matters, quality control, adherence to and compliance with processes, conducting internal audits and supporting external audits, and achieving (if not exceeding) performance targets. Who They Are Looking For You will be a confident individual with a great working knowledge of managing multiple production teams and delivering top notch results. You will be happy taking ownership of your areas, using your initiative to resolve issues; getting to the root cause and working as part of a larger site team to put long-term fixes in place. You will be the type of person who can easily gain the respect of your team and lead from the front. You will be a great motivator and able to adapt your communication style to suit the audience and situation. You will be able to demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset, along with experience of cost control, health and safety, management of quality systems, people management and change.
