PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Responsible for cold calling partner client lists and cold data, the Sales Executive`s main objective is to provide the Account Executives with pre-qualified leads. The Sales Executive is responsible for introducing currency exchange as a value added service to partner clients, or to cleanse and nurture data. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES - Outbound calls to partner client lists Calling data lists, introducing the company and other partner services, to pre-qualify the data for Account Executives. - Maintaining up to date records It is the responsibility of the Sales Executive to manage and maintain the data received from partner lists, keeping this live and up to date. - Reporting Keeping up to date records of referrals and calls, split by lead source. On a monthly basis to report monthly figures to the Senior BDM - Lead source feedback In order to assist in strengthening partnerships, the Sales Executive should work closely with Account Executives and BDMs, providing timely feedback on the quality of partner data - Partner communication It is the responsibility of the Sales Executive to gain any relevant information from the clients, including preparing Account Executives for potential onward referrals where relevant. They may also be required to feedback information directly to the partner who has provided the data. There may be occasions where the Sales Executive may be required to support the Account Executives where business requirements demand, and they should therefore have a good knowledge of the registration process. The Sales Executive will also be required to call data deemed colder than that managed by the Account Executives. As directed by the Senior BDM or Managing Director, the Sales Executive could also be asked to attend seminars and external exhibitions to represent the company at client facing events. IT Skills The Sales Executive will be predominantly customer facing and representing not only our company, but also our partners. They will most often be the first point of contact for clients and therefore need to be engaging, professional and with an excellent telephone manner. Sales experience is required along with customer service experience. Ideally this will have been gained within a contact centre/sales team environment. WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT Normal working hours are 08.30-17.00, however the Sales Executive will be expected to complete the hours necessary to achieve the expected company standards and performance. To this end the Sales Executive will need to be flexible and prepared to work occasional late and early shifts to maximise the opportunity to contact all clients - this will be agreed with the Senior BDM.
