We currently have a vacancy for a:

Systems Interface Developer

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our IT department.  

We are looking for someone with a proactive and helpful approach, who is able to contribute towards the achievements of our very busy and multi-talented IT department.

Applicants will need:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of C#; (MVC); JavaScript; XML / XSLT;  SQL – MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL; IIS and related HTTP(S) orientated tech; Visual Language; understanding of SOAP and its implementation within a business environment; (MVC)
  • Ideally you will also have Print Orientated protocols including JDF and JMF; EDIFACT; JSON; Microsoft Azure and Hybrid style connectivity; Windows Powershell scripting

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Internal and external web and system orientated development
  • Improving knowledge of workflow and systems currently in place at TJ through end user interaction
  • Keeping up to date with modern advances in application / interfaces and technology as appropriate
  • Being able to develop existing applications
  • Provide technical \ business support to all areas
  • Conformance to established code repository requirements
  • Work to develop and established other department members capabilities
  • Collating, monitoring and reporting quarterly on Project Development progress, Future developmental direction and resourcing requirements

The contracted hours for the role will be: 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day)

Salary: £26 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience
