Game Changer will transform the lives of 1035 young people living in challenging circumstances in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly today. It will support them to overcome the complex challenges they face; understand their individual aptitudes and interests; develop skills and experiences; build connectivity and networks; resulting in at least 55% of them moving into work or long term learning. Specifically, Game Changer will deliver four outcomes: - Participants are better equipped to address their personal barriers to engagement. - Participants report increased confidence and well-being. - Participants report increased knowledge and confidence in their plans for future careers. - Participants are ready to re-enter mainstream education, employment or apprenticeships To do this, we are harnessing an extensive network of local businesses, voluntary and third sector providers, schools, NHS, housing associations, innovators and sector specialists who will work together to transform the lives of 1035 15 - 24 year olds. The Partnership Manager is a key member of the Game Changer delivery team. Main Duties Negotiating and networking with Game Changer partners and key stakeholders ensuring EU & Big Lottery protocols are followed. - Ensure continuity between Game Changer, Talent Match Cornwall and other Big Lottery funded programmes in Cornwall. - Ensure and manage compliance with EU and Big Lottery protocols. - Acting as lead contact for partners ensuring compliance with the Game Changer partner's agreement. - Lead the day to day management of the programme. - Manage RIO Game Changer risk register. Working with the project team and partner organisations Working with the Project Lead in developing and maintaining links with senior staff members in partner agencies and the RIO Head of Marketing in managing customer relations. - Trouble shoots problems and find resolutions for the programme. - To work with the Game Changer team to ensure contracts meet financial targets and reporting milestones, ensuring excellent outcomes are delivered, both economic and social. - Work with Game Changer School partners and Game Changer Learning Facilitators in establishing 2 new Bridge Academies. - Work with the Contract Manager in monitoring outputs and progress towards targets and liaise with partners regarding variation and reconciliation. - Provide support for Learning & Skills Facilitators in the development and sustainability of CBL activities. - Work with evaluation partner to provide information to funders and stakeholders. - Work with commissioners and strategic partners to ensure project outputs are attained and sustained. - To support the Project Lead in ensuring outcomes and outputs are met and the programme remains on budget, reporting any variance to the Commercial Team meetings. - To provide written reports as required. - To support partners to ensure programme outcomes are achieved - To performance manage other members of RIO staff as required - To build and maintain excellent relationships with customers, contributing to repeat business and ongoing partnerships - Liaise with Head of Operations regarding project related recruitment / HR requirements. - Take a lead role in safeguarding issues that may arise, supporting staff and liaising with relevant organisations.
