Receptionist / Legal Assistant
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a well established and friendly law firm in the centre of Truro. Due to internal promotion, we are looking for a full time Receptionist/Legal Assistant. This will be a full time role, working Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. The Role Reception Duties: - First point of contact for our clients, meeting and greeting them and providing them with tea and coffee - Answering incoming calls and efficiently transferring calls through to the correct member of staff, or passing on clear and comprehensive messages - Keeping the reception area and meeting rooms tidy and well presented - Assist with administration tasks and postal duties Legal Assistant Duties: - Providing the team with administrative support - Delivery of an effective and client focused service - Complying with the firm's procedures and manuals - Working efficiently to make our service cost effective - Drafting letters to agents, solicitors, clients and external contacts - Preparing paperwork for financial transactions About You - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - A high level of numeracy and computer literacy - Excellent attention to detail, file management and organisational skills - Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within a legal environment - Commitment to client care - Experience or knowledge of the relevant area of law - Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines Please note - due to the high number of applications we receive you will only be contacted if you have been successfully shortlisted.
