Social Media, Marketing & Sales Executive
We are looking to recruit a vibrant Social Media, Marketing & Sales Executive, who is self-motivated, a team player and flexible. We are a manufacturing SME based in Bude, Cornwall, with additional UK operations in the Midlands and Scotland, employing over 450 in the UK. The company has two main business streams. The first is the design and manufacture of workshop storage equipment such as benches, cabinets and cupboards. This is complemented by the design, manufacture and installation of in-vehicle organisation solutions, such as van racking and on-board power solutions. As part of the company's ongoing growth and innovation we have invested heavily in our website and are actively targeting smaller trade van racking customers. The Social Media & Sales Executive will be responsible for developing this part of our business and to offer on line support to customers. The Social Media, Marketing & Sales Executive role has responsibilities in following areas: Social media management Reactive social media (day to day content) Pro-active social media (campaign based content) Full training and support will be given however an interest in and familiarity with social media is vital. Marketing Organising and managing exhibitions for the Smartvan range Supporting with the market research and development of new product and service offers Inbound customer contact support: Respond to inbound call enquiries Respond to inbound live chat enquiries Raise product quality reports if any quality / delivery issues are encountered Manage on line customer order related issues Implement post sale telephone customer survey Raise on customer orders onto the system where this has not been done automatically (we envisage that most order entry work will be automated) Essential criteria for the Social Media & Sales Executive includes: Ability to sell and convert on the phone Ability to keep to defined processes and create new processes to reflect on going learning An interest in and experience of using social media Ability to grasp and interest in technical product details A team focused mind-set Good attention to detail, spelling and grammar A flexible and committed approach Ability to cover a range of tasks and multi task The hours of work are 37 per week, Monday-Thursday 09:00-17:00 and Friday 09:00-16:30. To do this you'll be supported by a focused and engaged team and will be given the right training, direction and support to succeed.
