A new position has been created for an experienced Privacy Officer.
This role is a full time opportunity working 9am – 5.15pm Monday to Friday.
You will be working as a Privacy Officer within the Corporate team, but also working closely with the internal compliance team.
This role will have an internal and external function.
From an external perspective, you will visit clients’ businesses to assist with data protection audit exercises including data mapping, and be able to provide staff and board-level training to clients.
Internally, you will spend time on internal data protection compliance, including data mapping and auditing the firm’s current processes, liaising with business support teams and assisting with developing and implementing a strategy for data protection compliance under the General Data Protection Regulations.
Are you the right person?
A relevant qualification such as CIPP/E pr PDP Practitioner Certificate is highly desirable.
You will need to have a working knowledge of current data protection law and forthcoming changes under the GDPR.
You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations with client care in mind. You will be analytical, collaborative and able to devise practical solutions that will address a broad range of client needs.
You will be highly ICT literate, and have advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Experience in international data transfers and outsource providers would be an advantage.
