An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading Global Organisation. As the Financial Manager for the manufacturing site in Plymouth, you will lead a team and report directly into the Financial Controller. Client Details The ideal Finance Manager will be from a similar manufacturing/FMCG, as this role is a pivotal part of a fast paced and high growth manufacturing business. As the Finance Manager you will lead a team of 3 and manage the financial accounting activities, controls and compliance and to report on all financial areas to internal and external parties as required. The role reports directly to Site Finance Controller. Description As the Finance Manager you will: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports to Group in US GAAP, including Balance Sheet and P&L accounts and other supplemental reports with commentary on variances as required. Prepare and review reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts. Oversee maintenance of fixed asset and capital expenditure records and support capital expenditure applications and reviews. Provide information and support preparation of year-end statutory accounts and tax returns. Co-ordinate all internal and external audits including SOX and preparation of audit files. Manage the central financial accounting, reporting and controls/compliance team, overseeing Accounts Payable, Sales Ledger, Expense processing, Intercompany transactions, VAT and Intrastat returns and general maintenance of all Trial Balance accounts using SAP and HFM. Prepare and present monthly and ad hoc reports and decks to the Senior Management Team. Support the Annual Planning process. Co-ordinate and update all financial policy and procedure documents and regularly review to ensure compliance. Provide leadership to the finance function. Work closely with the UK Controller to business partner the Senior Management Team. Profile Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent solid post qualification experience. Enthusiastic, proactive and with excellent people-management skills. Good communication skills at all organisational levels. High level of attention to detail. Experience working with and implementing ERP systems and Analytics Tools, ideally SAP and HFM. Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
