We have an exciting opportunity available for the right self-starter looking for a varied and interesting career within our procurement team based at our Head Office in North Devon.
Reporting directly to our Clothing & Footwear Buyer you will assist in representing the company at internal and external business meetings, product selection and development, as well as delivering sales and margin budgets for these key retail categories within our business.
You will provide detailed analysis on sales, margin and stock turn for the clothing and footwear product ranges. You will develop relationships with suppliers and store staff to provide support on a day to day basis and assist with range selection and product management.
The successful candidate will be driven, adaptable, self-motivated, able to work under pressure, possess a strong work ethic and commercial understanding. An eye for detail and ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team are key. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential. Ideally you will be competent in using excel, word and power point however training can be provided if required.
This position would be an ideal stepping stone for someone with long term ambitions to become a buyer themselves.
