DEMI CHEF DE PARTIE - South Cornwall
Are you looking for a new challenge and to take on a new role within a 2 AA Rosette establishment? I may have the role for you! I am working closely with one of our prestigious clients of whom owns a 3* Hotel situated on the Fal River. The hotel promotes a fantastic 2 AA Rosette kitchen headed up by a very talented and aspiring head chef. He is looking to take on a Demi Chef De Partie who can help support the kitchen and assist in driving it forward.
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate a background of previously working to Rosette standard for at least a year. You will be able to demonstrate an excellent level of cooking along with an eye for detail. You must be a diligent worker and able to work under self initiative whilst also being able to take direction from the senior ranks. You must be flexible and able to cope well under pressure. You must have your up to date health and hygiene certificates and preferably a form of formal catering qualification.
You will be expected to help run sections along side the CDP's. You will be able to be flexible across the different departments and deliver to the highest standards. You will be working both straight and split shifts covering 48hrs a week.
In return for your services you will recieve a great salary of £18k per annum plus tips (£2k) plus accommodation at a cost of £5 per day all in. there is excellent scope for progression within the company and a chance to learn under some exceptional chefs.
