We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated team player to work as a catering assistant and provide a catering service in line with the 12-week programme for our Day Service. The service runs in 12 week blocks with a 2 week break between.
Duties to include: catering and nutritional duties, cleaning, compliance with food hygiene regulations, stock control and the use of computer programmes for stocktaking purposes and menu planning.
The hours required are: Monday and Thursday 9.30am to 2.00pm and Tuesday 9.30am to 2.30pm. (Holidays must be booked during the Day Service breaks and not when the service is running). There is always a break for 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter.
Essential knowledge and experience: Basic Food Hygiene knowledge, Microsoft word 2010 basic, Microsoft Excel 2010 basic. A Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a catering caring environment required.
