Front of House / Events Assistant / Retail Assistant
Job Title: Front of House roles
Working Hours: 5-40 hours per week
Cornwall's newest visitor attraction is now recruiting!
Our client is a unique visitor destination, celebrating the best of Cornish food and drink, especially the Pasty, and exploring how one food item came to sit at the heart of a county. Opening in July they are looking for a number of key people to join their team in the run up to launch and beyond.
As part of Front of House team you will be the welcoming face of the company, providing outstanding customer service whether at the front desk, merchandise shop or assisting in the museum, to ensure that all their visitors have a memorable experience to tell their friends about.
The ideal candidates will have:
- Hospitality, retail, events or marketing experience
- A naturally enthusiastic disposition
- Excellent customer service skills
- A flexible, 'can do' approach - we're a roll your sleeves up kind of team
- Previous supervisory/management experience would be advantageous for some roles but is not essential
The attraction is open 7 days a week and will regularly hold events outside its core hours; flexibility to work weekends, during holiday periods and before/after public opening hours is therefore an essential requirement of this role.
