BBO Work Experience Coordinator


Working in partnership to develop and co-ordinate work-related opportunities with hospitality and food businesses that enable individuals to explore employment and career opportunities in the industry ultimately to achieve progression into employment, training or job search. The post holder will explore, make and embed new and sustainable ways of working with businesses whilst ensuring that all opportunities are appropriate, safe and supportive environments for the individuals with appropriate levels of challenge.


  • Fixed Term Contract until 31st October 2019
  • Hours: 37.5 hours a week. (This post is working across two Big Lottery/ESF Building Better Opportunities (BBO) Programmes, Game Changer for 30 hours per week and Who Dares Work for 7.5 hours per week.)
  • Salary: £22,500 pro rata

Building Better Opportunities (BBO) is funded by The Big Lottery Fund / ESF across England to support disadvantaged people so that they can become more socially included by accessing education, training or employment. The Cornwall Food Foundation is working with many partners across Cornwall to inspire and motivate BBO participants though food.

Who we are:

The Cornwall Food Foundation is best known for managing the Fifteen Apprentice Programme and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Cornwall restaurant. The Foundation also engages people in need through a community cooking programme focusing on health, wellbeing and employment.
