The Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Spa Receptionist to join the team. We are looking for a strong, motivated individual, ideally someone who has previously worked within the spa industry and has excellent experience in dealing with guests at a five star standard. You will work with our small dedicated team to ensure from welcome to departure our Spa guests, members have a relaxing enjoyable experience during their Retreat Spa experience.

Spa Receptionist Responsibilities
  • Ensure the front desk is clean and tidy at all times
  • Responsible for taking reservations for the spa and leisure club
  • Inform guests on newly introduced products and services and the upsell of retail products
  • Build and maintain great relationships with our guests
  • Welcome and greet guest ensuring they receive the 5 star welcome
  • Process payments from guests for spa treatments and leisure memberships
  • Keep clients updated on promotions and discounts available in the spa and leisure club
  • Assist in getting client feedback on level of services delivered in order to improve on service delivery
  • Inform staff members of appointments that have been cancelled by guests
  • Carrying out any other reasonable tasks required by the spa management to aid the smooth running of the spa
  • Liaising with therapists and the Spa Manager with reference to clients schedules and last minute booking changes
  • Handling telephone enquiries 
The Idesl Spa Receptionist
  • Previous experience within the spa and leisure industry is desirable
  • Excellent customer services and communication skills (written & verbal)
  • A qualification within the beauty industry is highly desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High standard of personal presentation
  • Must be level 2 beauty therapy qualified
  • The ability to build relationships with guests
  • Computer literate and good attention to detail in admin
  • The spa is operational seven days a week so flexibility with evening and weekend work is required
  • Must be available to work the following shifts 7:30am-3:30pm or 13:30pm-21:30pm
